Why Have IGEF?

The Iowa-Grant School District was formed in 1958 with the first class graduating in 1961.  Incorporating the villages of Cobb, Montfort, Linden, Livingston, and Rewey into one district was a lofty task and we owe a debt of gratitude to those who had the vision and perseverance to make it happen.

From that time forward, Iowa-Grant has been an excellent starting point for many fine individuals as they made their way into the world.  This school has been know for its "Class Act" time and time again.

Many Iowa-Grant supporters would now like to have an avenue to give back for the educational gifts and opportunities they received in this small district with "The Good Earth all Around."  It is with this thought in mind that the Iowa-Grant Educational Foundation was formed in 1999.

This is an exciting opportunity for all Iowa-Grant supporters to continue the search for educational excellence now and for generations to come.  All contributions are tax-exempt.  Please join us in building this Foundation.

"While it is well enough to leave footprints on the sands of time, it is even more important to make sure they point in a commendable direction."
- James Cabell
